This past retreat encouraged and challenged us to engage scripture for spiritual transformation. As we journey together, let us approach the scriptures to experience God instead of using the Word just to prepare, teach or check a box off on our to do list.
We pray that what was shared on retreat- through group spiritual direction, reflections, Lectio Divina, teaching, worship, fixed hour prayer or over a meal- will lovingly reignite something in you over the course of this quarter.
You are being lovingly held in prayer in this season of Lent. Grateful to be on this journey together, The TC19 Team
P.S. If you have any questions about how to use the Guide to Prayer (blue book), please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We have included information and links that we shared with you on retreat — they will be helpful in supporting you in the next quarter.

Online Resources for Lectio Divina Abiding Way Daily Lectio Podcast - This podcast follows the Lectionary and the passages (Old Testament, Gospel, Epistle) are sometimes split over 2-3 days so they are shorter readings. The instructions are given ahead of each reading are consistent with what we practice on retreat.
NIV Live: A Bible Experience This app could be used for Lectio Divinabut each Scripture has to be chosen and entered to listen. You will hear a dramatized reading of the NIV translated passage. It would be a good resource for additional experience in Lectio Divina; but it might cumbersome for a daily Lectio.
